Start with four required checks, then compare seven personal preferences. A restriction, missing consent or unclear instruction is a reason not to proceed. The preferences below help you decide whether KTRL’s format interests you; they do not provide medical clearance, predict a result or add up to a suitability score.

Is KTRL right for you? Start with health and product purpose
If your main need is diagnosis or treatment, seek qualified professional advice before considering product preferences. This also applies to a persistent, distressing, painful or unexplained sexual-health concern. KTRL is not intended to diagnose or treat that concern, and this checklist does not assess it.
The KTRL Portable Smart Patch, model WDC201, is a self-contained, single-use consumer electronic product. It creates rhythmic physical sensation through controlled electrical pulses and external skin contact. Its built-in power is non-rechargeable; use requires no charging cable, app, separate controller, pill or separately applied delay formula.
The four checks are required conditions. The seven preference questions concern personal choice. There are no points, totals or suitability thresholds. The preference questions are an editorial checklist, not a validated assessment or a prediction of results.
If a health or product-use question remains unresolved, pause use. The KTRL guide to restrictions, consultation and product preferences explains which next step applies. Continue only when no unresolved concern requires consultation.
Four required checks before comparing preferences
Read the WDC201 user guide and the instructions supplied with your model before making a purchase-for-use decision.
Intended user: WDC201 is for men aged 18–60, inclusive. Do not use it outside that range.
All restrictions: do not use it if a do-not-use condition applies. These include relevant skin or material sensitivity, cardiovascular, implanted-device, nerve or sensation, medicine or treatment, and application-site recovery restrictions. This is not the full list: check every restriction and the appropriate consultation route. A preference never overrides a restriction.
Free choice: the wearer must want to use it. During a shared activity, all adults involved must freely agree and remain able to pause or stop. Buying or opening a patch creates no obligation.
Instructions you can follow: confirm the placement, skin preparation, stopping rules and your ability to track cumulative powered-on time. The limit is 30 minutes in one use; pauses do not reset it, and a later session requires a new patch. Resolve unclear instructions with support before use. The first-use guide explains the steps.
Stop immediately for pain, stinging, burning, redness, swelling, itching or other obvious discomfort; switch off and gently remove the patch. Persistent symptoms require qualified healthcare advice. A damaged or abnormal product must not be used.
Seven preferences that can change your buying decision
| Preference question | What to weigh |
|---|---|
| Does the rhythmic sensation itself interest you? | Consider the added sensation on its own, without expecting an erection, orgasm or timing result. |
| Do you prefer an external format? | The route may suit your preference; it does not replace prescribed medicine or establish that the patch is suitable for you. |
| Does built-in contact material suit your routine? | There is no separate delay formula to measure. Conductive gel and TPE still contact the skin, so material restrictions matter. |
| Would you willingly prepare, wear and remove the patch? | Placement and skin preparation are part of the format. Disliking that routine is a valid reason not to choose it. |
| Does one patch for one session fit your budget and disposal preferences? | Each later session requires a fresh patch. A short session does not create a reusable product. |
| Do you want self-contained power? | There is no app, charging cable or separate controller; you still need to follow the guide and track use time. |
| Are you comfortable deciding without a promised sexual result? | You may like, dislike or feel uncertain about the experience. None of those answers obliges another purchase. |
Use the rows to identify a decisive fit or mismatch, rather than counting favourable answers. One important mismatch may be enough to choose another format or buy nothing.
Choose a next step without adding up answers
If a required condition is unmet or unclear, do not proceed. When those conditions are satisfied, a personal preference can still make the product a poor fit.
Need a diagnosis or treatment? Discuss the concern with a qualified professional.
Unsure about a rule? Ask KTRL Support about the product and a qualified healthcare professional about health suitability.
Unsure about format? Compare what different product categories actually do.
The format does not appeal? Buying nothing is a complete decision.
Frequently asked questions
These answers clarify the checklist; they do not change the product instructions or use restrictions.
Can positive preferences outweigh a failed required check?
No. The intended user group and age range, use restrictions, consent and ability to follow the instructions are required conditions. If any is unmet, do not use KTRL, regardless of your preferences.
What if I am unsure about a restriction or instruction?
Pause before use. Ask KTRL Support about operation or placement, and seek qualified professional advice about an uncertain health restriction. An unresolved answer is not permission to proceed.
Does a "No" to a preference question mean I cannot use KTRL?
For the seven preference questions, it may simply mean a feature does not appeal to you, once all required conditions and consultation needs have been addressed. A preference answer never changes a restriction, consent, an instruction or the need for professional advice.
Must I use the patch for the full 30 minutes?
No. Thirty minutes is the maximum cumulative powered-on time during one use. You may stop earlier and must stop if discomfort occurs; switched-off intervals are excluded, but restarting continues the same accumulated total.
Can I remove and reattach the patch to adjust its position?
Yes, during the same use if adhesion is inadequate or the position needs adjusting. Switch off before removing and reattaching it. This does not permit reuse in a later session or reset the powered-on time allowance.
